Extension concept master plan.

An agricultural information exchange mechanism over cyber space, the imaginary space behind the interconnected computer networks through telecommunication means.

 Dissemination in agricultural extension.

In agriculture, the role of technology generation system and technology transfer system is equally important. Traditionally dissemination of technological innovations is done by three methods viz; personal contact method, group contact method and mass contact method by using result and method demonstration methods.

1. Personal contact method

 Personal contact method is defined as the direct contact method by the extension worker with an individual or the members of his family for a specific purpose. The individual contact may be established through the farm and home visits, office calls, informal contacts, telephone calls, personal letters, etc

2.  Group contact method .

It is that form of discourse which occurs when two or more persons, recognizing a common problem exchange and evaluate information and ideas, in an effort to solve that problem.

3. What is the method of mass contact method.

It is an intensive teaching activity undertaken at an opportune time for a brief period focusing attention in a concerted manner on a particular problem, with a view to stimulate the widest possible interest in a community, block or other geographical area.

*Agricultural extension and communication?

Development communication and extension (advisory services) are important instruments for encouraging dialogue about science-based farming solutions with communities, helping to stimulate agricultural production. However, they are often under resourced

 Concept of extension.

- Extension is a process of working with rural people in order to improve their livelihoods. This involves helping farmers to improve the productivity of their agriculture and also developing their abilities to direct their own future development.

 *Technology dissemination.

Whether through transfer or diffusion, technology dissemination is a process that involves moving an innovation from one party to another. Technology is a noun—a term that holds several levels of meaning. The broadest and most fundamental definition of technology is whatever civilization uses to sustain itself.
